SMALL TALK CENTRE
FOR LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

A specialized Early Childhood Intervention Centre for children with Primary Language Impairments

ABOUT SMALL TALK

Small Talk Society For Developmental Language Disorders In Pre-School Aged Children is a specialized Early Childhood Intervention Centre located in Vancouver, BC, for children diagnosed with significant Primary Language Impairments.

We offer four (4) half-day programs promoting children along a Language Learning Continuum. The continuum begins with the young Emergent Communicator and progresses through to the higher-level Language Learner.

Specific language therapy objectives are targeted throughout each day using the principals of activity-based intervention. In each classroom of 10 children, there are two specialized Early Childhood Educators and a Speech & Language Pathologist. Daily collaboration occurs to ensure the needs of each child are addressed.
