Small Talk Fees

 

It currently costs the Society approximately $720 per month for each child to attend Small Talk.

The Provincial Government provides $220 per month for each child through the Ministry of Children and Families.

The Society charges parents $500 per month for each child attending the school, which is the difference between the cost and the amount received from the Ministry of Children and Families.

   
Financial Assistance
 

Qualified parents can obtain a Government Subsidy of up to $375 per month from the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Information on the Child Care Subsidy Program, including the application process and forms, can be found on the Ministry’s web site.

In 2007, the Society started a Bursary Program to provide additional subsidies for lower income families.

Fundraising  

The Society organizes events to raise funds and receives donations from individuals and organizations. Small Talk's greatest benefactor is the Canadian Progress Club.

The Society is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency and can issue tax receipts for donations. Our Charity Registration Number is 11925 4423 RR0001.

Donations to Small Talk can be designated as part of the United Way campaign.
