WORKSHOPS

Families play an integral role in their child's language development. To assist parents and families, Small Talk hosts evening workshops and parent groups throughout the school year on topics associated with raising children who have Primary Language Impairments.

These workshops help parents better understand how their child learns language, and in addition, help parents develop better advocacy skills.

Parents and guardians of Small Talk children are welcome to attend:
Introduction to Language Development: Techniques and Strategies
  Visual Language Workshop
  Word Retrieval Workshop
  Narrative Workshop
  Advocacy Training
